Story Time

I'm a fan of Daggerfall, something that's not that easy to miss when looking at my NerdWall™, that's for sure. In 2021, Bethesda shared a tweet for the game's 25th anniversary with a picture of the Underking added to it. What caught my eye was that it was a new artwork, an artwork in a relatively modern style and my brain went "Neat! I should definitely do something with that!".

Fast forward to 2022: I'm digging through my feed and rediscover said tweet by BethSoft and my brain goes again "Ah! I've seen this! I should definitely do something with that!" and what can I say? I sat down and did something with it and the box here is the result.

I've been a fan of the cut-out box of the Interactive Preview, but for my perfect box, I'd mash it up with the cheesy, comic one from the UK release. For the Anniversary mock-up, I just did this, but with the new Underking art instead. Also, I've added bits and pieces from other boxes to it to give the bare Interactive Preview cover some more polish. I'm not gonna list all the elements here, but feel free to find out what was taken from what release.
